Professional experience
Steve is a Partner Emeritus of the Aldrich Group of Companies, which includes Aldrich CPAs + Advisors LLP, Aldrich Wealth LP, Aldrich Benefits LP, Aldrich Retirement Solutions LP, and Aldrich Technology LLC. He began his accounting career in 1974 and served as the president and CEO of Aldrich for over 30 years. In addition, he excels at skillfully negotiating business mergers, sales and acquisitions. Under his leadership, the firm grew from a single office to a multi-state West Coast regional firm with deep industry expertise in several sectors. Steve was awarded CEO of the Year in the professional services category by the Portland Business Journal in 2009 and selected as a Most Admired Peer by Inside Public Accounting in 2016 and 2014. Steve serves on the board of trustees, executive committee, and as the chair of the Business Management Committee at George Fox University.Educational background
Steve graduated with a BS, in Business Administration & Accounting, from Linfield College, McMinnville, OR 1974. He earned his CPA, license in 1976, and also earned his Series 7 and 65, license in 1999.Affiliations
Steve is an active member of the Oregon Society of CPAs (and Past Chair), and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Steve has served as Chairman, past Chair and Vice Chair as well as a member of the board of directors of CPAmerica International. Steve also served six years on the Board of CPA Mutual Insurance Company and 15 years on the BSF leadership team in Salem. Steve currently serves on the Board of Trustees (past six years), the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Business Management Committee for George Fox University.
