Professional experience
Mark provides high-touch tax and financial planning services to high-net-worth individuals and business owners through our Private Client group. He helps clients identify their overall financial goals and objectives and assists them in achieving those goals by accessing a network of resources and relationships. He also guides them through estate planning and personal financial planning matters and advises business owners on business succession strategies. After joining the firm in 1989, Mark pioneered the opening of our first office outside of Salem. That location in the Portland Metro area has since become our largest office and current headquarters. Early in his career, he spent 10 years with a former “Big 8” accounting firm.Educational background
Mark graduated from Washington State University (1971-75), and received his JD from Willamette University Law School (1975-78).Affiliations
Mark is a member of the Oregon State Bar, the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Portland Estate Planning Council, and the Portland Tax Forum.
